Sandra M. Stott, 82, of Granville, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.

Born on November 21, 1943, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Renna (Shank) Mayes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward S. Stott, and her sister, Loa Semder.

Sandra is survived by her loving children, Sunny Jo Murphy and her husband, Rick, of Lewistown, and Douglas A. Stott and his fiancée, Denise Baumgardner, of Granville. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren: Miranda Murphy, Laurel Murphy, Teri Jo (Stott) Himes and her husband, Dairen, Jennifer Murphy, Willie Baumgardner and his wife, Britney, and Kristie (Baumgardner) Ross and her husband, David. Her memory will also be treasured by her great-grandchildren: Jayden Himes, Taylor Ruble, Colton Baumgardner, Issac Ross, and Rylan Himes.

Earlier in life, Sandra was employed as a nurse's aide at Malta Home Nursing Home in Granville. She later worked at KB-Aerotech before returning to school to pursue her passion for nursing. After earning her degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse, she returned to Malta Home Nursing Home, where she faithfully served until her retirement. Sandra was also a proud member of the Red Hat Society.

In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held.

Arrangements have been entrusted to King-Barr Funeral Home, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown.

In lieu of flowers, and in Sandra's memory, her family asks that you honor her by showing kindness to someone-just as Sandra so often did.

I think the last time we actually seen each other was Grandma's funeral.. I was hoping to come and see you before I heard of yours cookie and I was planning on coming back within the summer. My heart goes out to the family.
