Eileen Stott, 80, beloved aunt and long-time resident of Hudson, NH, passed away unexpectedly on January 28, 2026 at Southern NH Medical Center.
Born in Chelsea, MA, she was the daughter of the late Mary E. (D’Amore) Stott. One of three siblings, she was raised in Lowell and graduated from Lowell High School, later taking classes at ITT Technical School and Boston University. Eileen worked at Digital Equipment Corporation/Compaq in supervisory roles for many years, before retiring from Comcast.
After retirement, Eileen enjoyed a vibrant and active lifestyle. She was very involved with the Tyngsborough (Senior) Center for Active Living, where she made many friends and shared many laughs. Eileen enjoyed going out to lunch on Tuesdays and Fridays with her friends and spending time with her nieces on weekends. She had a fiercely independent spirit and always maintained a positive and upbeat attitude regardless of the challenges that presented themselves. Eileen was a problem solver with a can-do attitude who loved helping family and friends. Her home was a source of pride, and she loved working in her yard.
Above all, she was devoted to her family, especially her nieces. Always generous with her time, she never missed a family gathering, a school activity or call for assistance.
Eileen leaves behind her niece Caroline Keaney and her spouse, Michael, great nephew Patrick, great niece, Emily of Tyngsborough, and niece, Kristina Dimodana and her partner, Michael Morrione of Reading. She also leaves behind many cousins, including Kathy Delensky, Donna Soper and Linda Mulcahy and many friends, including her oldest and dearest friend, Gerry Hermansen of Watertown.
Eileen will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
