Sandra Jean Tallant, 70, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026.
Sandra was born on May 4, 1955, in San Antonio, Texas, to the late Donald and Anna Schreiber. She was a devoted wife, mother and Mema, roles that brought her the greatest joy in life. Her husband Larry Tallant was the love of her life, she often said they were soulmates, a bond she cherished every day.
Sandra adored spending time with her grandchildren, especially enjoying shopping trips and ice cream dates with her grandbabies. She also deeply loved her fur-babies and had a natural gift caring for anyone who needed a little extra love.
An avid sports fan, Sandra proudly cheered for the Georgia Bulldogs and the Dallas Cowboys. She loved having a good time, sharing laughs and relaxing with a cold Coors Light. Truly one of a kind, Sandra never met a stranger. She had a remarkable way of making friends everywhere she went and could hardly go anywhere without running into someone she knew.
Sandra Jean Tallant will be remembered for her generous heart, joyful spirit and the love she freely gave to all who knew her.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband, Larry Dean Tallant, her son Justin Dean Tallant and his wife Savanna Leah Tallant, her grandchildren, Emma Jane Tallant and August “Auggie” Dean Tallant, her sisters, Sherry Schreiber Attaway, Stacy Schreiber Salzer and Cindie Jaegers, along with a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be on Sunday, January 25, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 p.m., in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
