Sandra Thelen Obituary
Passed away on May 3, 2022, at the age of 70. Sandy was born on October 25, 1951, daughter of Clemens and Rita (Goodman) Schneider. She worked as a pharmacy technician at Walmart. Sandy had a very strong Christian faith; enjoyed playing cards, going to the Casino, watching television, spending time with family and her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children: Michelle (Chris) Fox, Richard (Crystal) Thelen Jr., Jason (Melissa) Thelen, Danielle Thelen, and Robyn (Steve) Bartig; 12 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; siblings: Linda (Jerry) Huhn, LaVern (Joan) Schneider, Roger (Sue) Schneider, Kathy (Gary) Gay, and Jerome Schneider. Sandy is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Amy Lile, brothers, Baby Clem Schneider and Lee (Sharon) Schneider, sister-in-law Janie Schneider, and niece Heather Bomgaars.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, May 14, 2022 – 2:00 p.m. at Eagle Township Hall, 14318 Michigan St
Eagle, MI 48822. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in loving memory of Sandra Thelen to the American Cancer Society, 129 Jefferson Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503. The family has entrusted arrangements to the Mills Funeral Home, Peters & Murray Chapel, Grand Ledge. Online condolences may be placed at www.millsfuneral.com.
