Sandra Ann Giles Tibbets, 74, of Jerome, Idaho, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2025, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Twin Falls, surrounded by her loving family.

Sandi was born August 23, 1951, in Oakland, California, to Jackson Dean Spann and Dorothy Ann Stephenson. She was the eldest of five children born to Jack and Dorothy. The family later moved to Burley, Idaho, where Sandi grew up and graduated from Burley High School. Soon after, she met the love of her life, Robert Cardon Giles. They were married on September 13, 1969, in Burley.

Robert and Sandi made their home throughout the Magic Valley and were blessed with seven children: Tracey Ann, Robert Travis, Hailey Marie, Tyson Dean, Jacob Benjamin, Zachary Allen, and Joshua Marshall. Their marriage endured for 44 years until Robert’s passing in 2013. On February 12, 2019, Sandi found love again and married Lester Gene Tibbets in Jerome, Idaho, where they happily resided until her death.

Sandi lived a rich and full life centered on faith, family, and service. A faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in many callings over the years. She was a gifted seamstress, quilter, crafter, baker, and gardener whose talents blessed countless lives. Though she worked outside the home at times, her greatest joy and calling was being a wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker.

Sandi is survived by her husband, Lester Gene Tibbets; her children, Tracey (Bruce) Hubbard of Holbrook; Travis (Karen) Giles of Gooding; Hailey (Steve) Sears of Wendell; Jacob (Ashley) Giles of Eden; Zachary (Emma) Giles of Rexburg; and Josh (Ana) Giles of Jerome; her brother, Jackson Spann; 24 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Dorothy Spann; her first husband, Robert Cardon Giles; her son, Tyson Dean Giles; her brothers, Tom and Terry Spann; and her sister, Debbie Wardlow.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm, Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Gem Memorial Gardens in Burley, Idaho. Friends and family are invited to gather at the cemetery.

Memories and condolences may be shared with the family on Sandi’s memorial webpage at www.farnsworthmortuary.com.
