Sandra Webb Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Serenity Funeral Care on Dec. 4, 2025.
Sandi embodied the trait of kindness. We saw it in everything she did. Never a harsh word, even if something or someone infuriated her, and the vast majority of us never saw her in that state. It is because she channeled any frustration or anger into positive actions for others. For those of us who paid attention, it is that "for others" that is indelibly engraved on our memories of her. It is that selflessness that helped her stand apart from every crowd and what made her leadership and service to others so effective. She was always searching for ways to make others more comfortable, more successful, more heard, and more appreciated. Her empathy and compassion for others were only rivaled by her fortitude and gratitude. She was a champion for what is right, good, and moral. She was the kind of person to which we should all aspire; never an unkind word and a sense of giving that was bigger than herself.
Growing up the only girl in a family of five children must not have been easy, but she led the Dunn siblings with grace, dignity, and the fortitude to set the right example for the siblings who dutifully followed her. While she was difficult to fully emulate, she was always there to shine the light on the right path, leading all the while. Her brothers all strived to be more like her and to make her proud, and she was very proud of each of those brothers. She behaved as if it was her duty to illustrate how one should lead their life in service to others and with the belief that we can all make the world a better place.
Sandi's most important role in life was mother to Jonathan and Brian Webb. Her deep understanding of the human condition allowed her to be the parent we should all want to be. She understood the unique challenges of all humans, especially for her sons, and advocated with the strength and tenacity needed to assure they always had what they needed and deserved. All you have to do is look at the beautiful men Brian and Jonathan have become to see that she knew the plan for each of them and executed it beautifully.
Sandi proudly and nearly silently served as a Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse for decades and was recognized and honored by the Northern Kentucky Nurses' Honor Guard recently at the St. Elizabeth Hospice Center in Edgewood, Kentucky. Her medical career is yet another shining example of her service leadership and her compassion for others.
Our gratitude to Dorothy Webb and Rhonda Webb Curt for their dedication to Sandi through her final days can never be fully expressed. They provided the support, love, and care she needed to remain as comfortable as possible in their home. Sandi spent her last days in the care of the St. Elizabeth Hospice Center, surrounded by angels who took care of her like she was their sister. Indeed, as a former Hospice nurse herself, she was every bit their sister and Sandi was able to spend those last days with the care she deserved.
Sandi's faith in Jesus Christ was the constant due North for her moral compass. She did not have to profess her Christian values, she lived them in such a way that they were glaring and needed no explanation. Constantly giving to others was the way she lived her everyday life. She took care of anyone and everyone who needed assistance, and did so quietly and patiently, without judgement or the need or want for any recognition. Everyone else's success was her success. She was the greatest accompanist ever, in every sense of the word. Those of us lucky enough to have sung and played with her know the level of mastery she possessed. All her life, she played with the precision of a great, classically trained pianist and flutist, which she was, and sang like an angel. She lived and performed in perfect harmony with her faith and showed us all what a servant leader can do. Her work at Burlington Baptist, Elsmere Baptist, and Bulletsburg Baptist Churches as well as the musical group Tapestry is a perfect example of her leadership and praise to her savior.
Sandra Suzanne (Dunn) Webb was born on March 10, 1956 in Berkley, California and died on November 26, 2025, in Edgewood, Kentucky. Sandi is survived by two wonderful sons, Brian Webb and Jonathan (Nikki) Webb, three brothers, Tony (Angela) Dunn, Scott (Tina) Dunn, and Keith (Beth) Dunn, and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, two great-great-nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert M. and Anna K. Dunn, her brother, John D. Dunn, her niece, Brandy S. (Dunn) Kuhlman, and her great-niece Madison J. Brill.
The world is a much better place because she was in it, and we are all better people for having shared time with her. While she will be sorely missed, it is reassuring that the difference she made in each of our lives will continue her legacy forever.
There will be a celebration of Sandi's life on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at the Burlington Baptist Church in Burlington, Kentucky. There will be a visitation from 11:00 a.m. until noon and the memorial service will begin at noon. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Sandra "Sandi", please visit our Tree Store.
