It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sandra Dotson Wickware, who went peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones on july 2, 2024.
Sandra was born on May 3, 1961, in Dallas, Texas to Juanita (Jenny) and Murle Don Dotson. She lived most of her life in Frost, Texas, alongside her siblings. She attended Frost High School where she graduated in 1980.
Sandra was a loving mother, daughter, sister, "G-mama", and friend, always putting others' needs before her own. Her warm personality, infectious smile, and generous heart made her an instant favorite among all who knew her.
Despite facing many challenges in her life, Sandra remained resilient and persevered through it all with that smile we all know and love. She was a fighter till the end, and her unwavering faith in her family and God was an inspiration to us all.
She is preceded in death by the love of her life, Jerry (Jay) Wickware; daughter, Amy Crayton; father, Don Dotson; father-in-law, Jerry Wickware; and mother-in-law, Rebecca Griffin.
Sandra is survived by her mother, Juanita Dotson; son, Jeffrey Wickware and wife, Summer; sisters, Norma Welborn and husband, Roy, Nina Dotson, Barbra Kelley and husband, Kevin, Mary Lee Lyle, Donna Smith and husband, Scott; brother, Don Dotson and wife, Tammy; grandchildren, Alexandra and Tyler Crayton, Tanner Bentley and Savannah Wickware, and Lexi and Carlee Baldree; numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and close friends.
Her life will be celebrated on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at 3:00 pm at Corley Funeral Home in The Magnolia Chapel with burial following at Frost Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Corley Funeral Home in The Magnolia Chapel from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
We will miss her dearly but take comfort in the fact that she is now in a better place, free from pain and heartache. She is now reunited with the many she has loved and lost.
May her soul rest in eternal peace.
We love you more.
