Sandra Lynn (Case) Aldridge, age 68 of Oldfield, died August 28, 2025. She was born on October 9, 1956, the daughter of Larry Case and Myrtle (Frye) Case, was born in Roseville, California, the oldest of five children.
Sandy was in the graduating class of 1974 of Sparta High School, Sparta, Missouri. She worked 40 years for General Electric in Springfield, Missouri. After retiring she attended culinary school and shared those dishes with family and friends. She had a great love for her family and her horses. She, Connie and her friends, “Barbwire & Roses” spent many hours riding at Bar K and other trail rides with the friends she made over the years.
Sandy is survived by her husband Steve of 50 years, son, Travis and Melissa Aldridge, and Tyler Aldridge of Oldfield; a grandson, Chandler, whom she adored; her mother, Myrtle Case of Sparta; a sister, Connie Pendergrass and Steve of Ozark; two brothers, Jim Case and wife Tammy and Roger case, all of Sparta.
Sandy was preceded in death by her father, Larry Case; a brother, John Case; and a niece, Amy Brown.
Sandy had a love of horses from her youth winning awards in team penning. She donated the saddles she won to fundraisers for other in need.
Sandy was very giving of herself and could often be found quietly preparing meals for people with illnesses and other acts of kindness.
Sandy was a member of Shady Grove Southern Baptist Church and enjoyed worshiping there. At her request, a graveside service will be held on Friday, September 5, at 10:30 a.m. under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Pastor Zach Hartgraves and Pastor Reggie Micham officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to be made to Shady Grove Southern Baptist Church: 2630 State Hwy OO, Sparta, MO 65753.
