Sandra Kay Williams Cavinee, 77, of Roseville, went to be with our Lord and Savior at 3:17pm, on her mommy Nellie's birthday, February 2, 2025 at Genesis Morrison House following an illness. She was born on January 31, 1948 in Roseville and resided there most of her life. She was the daughter of Rodney and Nellie (Henry) Williams. she is the sister to the Danny (Nancy) Williams and the late Sharon Williams Nelson of Roseville. She has a daughter, who she loved the most as she would say, Jody Cavinee Thompson of Crooksville and her shining lights (granddaughters) Jade and Baylee Thompson as well as her faithful fur grandchild, Mobley. She also leaves behind her extended family of nieces, nephews, and a slew of cousins she adored and was adored by. Sandy graduated from Roseville High School in 1966. She was devoted to God, her family in which she cherished with all of her heart and Ebenezer Church. She worked at Good Sam/Genesis for over 44 years where she was dedicated to the lab and volunteer services and you could tell she applied her heart, body and soul. She loved to read, take walks & rides while eating ice cream cones. Over the years she was a true warrior and advocate for her granddaughter, Baylee, in her battle with mitochondrial disease. You could always count on her smiling face at any fundraising event for the UMDF. Her gift of singing was amazing and there will be a void for sure on Sundays from the back pew. Her creative ability to put things together was second to none. From decorating at every family party, to years of helping her cousins Ethel and Teresa with their dance recitals, to making her famous bows and flower arrangements for every holiday at her house was magical. Sandy took care of her own for sure and did it always with a smile, encouraging word and a hug. She was the rock of the family for certain and like Simon Peter our family was built around her. Calling hours will be held Wednesday February 5, 2025 from 11:00am - 2:00pm at Ebenezer Country Church, 10080 E. Athens Road, Roseville, where funeral services will begin at 2:00pm with Rev. Carolyn Hoskinson officiating. Burial will conclude in Ebenezer Cemetery. There will be a potluck and continued celebration of her life immediately following at the Roseville American Legion social hall, 74 S. Main Street, Roseville. All are invited to come and reminisce about Sandy. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the UMDF.org or Genesis Hospice Morrison House. Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 33 N. Main Street, Roseville is honored to care for our friend and extended family, Ms. Sandy Cavinee. Sign the online register book

I was shocked to hear that Sandy had passed. She worked with my dad, Clarence Shumate at Good Sam and she was a part of the volunteer services office when I worked there.
Always a smile, a sweet word and a good heart.
She will be missed
