Mr. Sandy Devadus Deas, Jr. was born on January 25, 1964, in Moultrie, Georgia to the late Sandy Devadus Deas, Sr. and the late Melba Furney Deas. Sandy departed this life on Monday, January 15, 2025, at his residence.

Sandy was a beloved husband, father, brother and friend with extraordinary wisdom, practical intelligence, and a proud veteran of the United States Army. After graduating high school, he continued his education and earned a degree in nursing. He was employed with Southwest Georgia Community Action Council for over 3 years in the maintenance department. In his spare time, he enjoyed fixing on cars, meeting people, fishing, talking about the military, and riding motorcycles.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Webb and Lorene Furney and Sandford and Rosalie Deas.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Linda E. Deas of Moultrie, Georgia; son, Sandy D. Deas, III (Kyleygh) of Quitman, Georgia; daughter, Melba Deas Bundy (Alex) of Moultrie, Georgia; step-daughters, Krystal Parrish, Kerra Reynolds and Leslie Croft all of Moultrie, Georgia; brother, Clayton Deas (Janet) of Atlanta, Georgia; sister, Stacey Harvey (Ronald) of Hahira, Georgia; uncle, Gerald Furney of West Palm Beach, Florida; aunts, Mavis Folsom (Gerald) of Titusville, Florida and Doris Ewer of Moultrie, Georgia; grandchildren, Lamar and Nikko; special friend, Randy Coviello of Tampa, Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, co-workers and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Luke Strong and Son Mortuary.
