Sandy Satullo

Mr. Sandy Satullo, 84 years old, of Elyria, Ohio, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026, supported by his loving family. Sandy was born on April 24, 1941, in Cleveland, Ohio. He was the son of the late Frank J. and Dorothy (nee Perkins) Satullo. He grew up in Cleveland in the late 1950's and attended West High School in Cleveland, Ohio. Sandy served in the U.S. Army in the mid-1960s and was honorably discharged in December of 1966. He married Kathleen (nee LaRocque) Satullo in October of 1967. Together they raised a loving family at their home in Avon Lake, Ohio. Sandy worked as a Master Tool and Die Maker and as a Supervisor for Form-A-Tool in Cleveland and Star Metal Products in Westlake, Ohio.

He especially loved spending time painting folk art, birdwatching, gardening, landscaping his property, astronomy, nature walks, home improvement projects, and traveling. Sandy's favorite pastime was visiting with his family including his siblings, children, and particularly his grandchildren. He had specialized hobbies of playing chess and breeding rare tropical fish as a member of the Cleveland Aquarium Society. He also was a member of the American Legion in Avon Lake, Ohio.

Sandy will primarily be remembered for his generosity with his time to help others, specializing in home repairs. He will also be remembered for his hearty sense of humor and steadfast empathy for others.

Remaining to cherish Sandy's memory are his former spouse, Kathleen; children, Frank Rocco Satullo (Rebecca) and Linda Marie Barlock (William); grandchildren, Cara Satullo, Dominic Satullo, Jaryn Lindner, and Andrew Lindner; siblings Nick (the late Eileen), Joseph (the late Sandy) and Dorothy (the late Bill).

Preceding him death are his parents, Frank J. and Dorothy (nee Perkins) Satullo; his siblings Samuel, James (Judith), Frank, Carmella and Angela.

A memorial visitation will be held at Busch Funeral Home,163 Avon Belden Rd., Avon Lake, Ohio 44012 on Saturday, March 28, 2026. Family and friends are invited from 12:30 pm until the time of the memorial service starting at 2:00 pm.
