Sanford W. Ferguson, 65 of Bourbon, MO passed away Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
Sanford William was born on March 5, 1959 to Leroy and Opal (Donnely) Ferguson in St. Louis, MO. He attended and graduated from high school in St. Louis. After completing his education, Sanford faithfully served his country in the United States Army and was honorably discharged on June 2, 1992 from Fort Dix in New Jersey.
Sanford was employed as a correctional officer for many years within the prison system. In his free- time he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and shooting pool. He was a member of Meramec Valley Pool League. Sanford dearly loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
Sanford is survived by his daughter Francheskka Keckler and husband Shane of Bourbon, MO; grandchildren: Marashae and Tristan Moreland, Andrew and Felicity Cox, Dalton and Erin Cox, Jacob Keckler, Skyler Keckler and Izsabella Keckler all of Bourbon, MO; a brother, Gene Veach of Phenix City, AL; other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Sanford was preceded in death by his father, John Brown; his mother, Helen Davison; and ex-wife, Lois Ferguson.
Cremation services have taken place. There will be no services at this time.
