Santos Sanchez Jr.

Santos Sanchez Jr., affectionately known as “Junior,” age 47, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on December 18, 2025, in Colorado Springs, CO.

Santos was born on May 3, 1978, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, to the late Orlando Sanchez and Awilda Antonetti from Salinas, Puerto Rico. He later made his home in Colorado Springs, where he resided with his companion, Shelby Marie “Ava” Estes.

Santos was an independent and determined man who deeply loved his family. He enjoyed working with computers and had a passion for collecting 8-tracks, cassette tapes, and VHS tapes. He also enjoyed eating and spending time in his own way. Santos was a hardworking man who was employed as a mailman and in maintenance.

Santos was predeceased by his father, Orlando Sanchez; his grandmother, Nydia Soto; and his grandfathers, Santos Sanchez and Carlos Antonetti.

He is survived by his loving mother, Awilda Antonetti; his grandmother Antonia Antonetti; his companion, Shelby Marie “Ava” Estes; and his nine siblings: Javier Santiago, Awilda Sanchez, Orlando Echevarria, Carlos Sanchez, Caroline Sanchez, Joseph Candelario, Jose “Cece” Antonetti, Luis Antonetti, and Nydia (Tyron) Davis, his beloved nieces and nephews, along with extended family and friends who will cherish his memory.
