Santosh Kumari Gupta

Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Santosh Kumari Gupta passed away suddenly but peacefully March 28th, 2025. She was surrounded by loved ones.
Santosh was born in Kot Shamir, Bathinda, India in 1948. Loving daughter of the late Sh. Jaswant Rai Aggarwal and Chameli Devi. After completing her college education and marrying her beloved husband, Sukh, she came to the US in 1973. She provided a loving home for her family while living in Chicago until 1980 and then moved to the Detroit area to be closer to loved ones. While juggling the demands of raising a young family, she advanced through the IT department, ultimately becoming a manager at The Wellness Plan, a local health insurance company. With her unending drive and energy, she earned her MBA during this time.
Following her much-deserved retirement, she devoted herself to her family and embraced a variety of personal passions. She cultivated a remarkable home garden, generously sharing its bountiful harvest with loved ones. Her spirituality blossomed as she embraced the teachings of Sadhguru, dedicating herself to daily meditation and breathing exercises. With her serene presence and wise counsel, she became a pillar of tranquility and guidance for her family, both in the U.S. and India.
She is Survived by Husband Sukh, Daughter Ritu, Son Atul (Valli), beloved grandchildren Surav and Mihir, and countless close and extended family in the US and India. Her absence will be felt deeply by all she touched.
