Sara Faye Browning, age 85, of Lebanon, passed away on Sunday, September 07, 2025 at the Village of Lebanon Nursing Home. She was born on March 26, 1940 in Springfield, Kentucky to the late Joseph Earl and Mary Gertrude Spalding.

She was preceded in death by her parents; nine siblings, Jim Spalding, Dorothy Mae Spalding, Joe Spalding, Charles Spalding, Marion Badgett, Geraldine Edelen, Sammy Spalding, Bobby Spalding, Harry Spalding.

Survivors include her loving husband of 66 years, Fred Browning of Lebanon; five children, Wayne Browning of Bardstown, Debby Mattingly (Mark) of Lebanon, Trudy Jackson (Jeff) of Bloomington, Melissa Browning of Lebanon, Pat Browning (Donna) of Lebanon; ten grandchildren, Johnathan Browning (Sara), Kari Browning, Sara Beth Wright (Dooley), Kevin Mattingly (Paige), Travis Mattingly (Lauren), Mariah Tissue (Tyler), Sam Jackson (Emma), Briana Richmond (Jason), Lindsey Smith (Griffin), Logan Browning (Fiancé, Kayla Brady).

Also surviving are fourteen great- grandchildren with one on the way.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 11, 2025 at St. Charles Catholic Church. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at Bosley Funeral Home with a prayer service that will be held at 7:00 P.M.; officiated by Deacon Joe Dant.
