We lost our beloved Sara Ramos Calixto on Saturday, March 9, 2024. She passed peacefully at Sweetwater Hospital, surrounded by family. Sara was born in Caguas, PR, on January 10, 1939, and was the oldest of 13 siblings. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alejandrina Calixto and Escolastico Ramos; son, Juan Colón, Jr.; daughter, Gloria Enid Colón.
She is survived by her son, Ismael (Kelly) Delgado, Jr.; grandchildren, Zahra Colón, Joselin (Edward) Taylor, Raquel Delgado, Nicole Delgado, Aidyl (Ramon) Santiago, Juan Colón, Jr., Giselle Colón, Alyssa Colón, Angellee Cruz; great grandchildren, Izaiah, Zavannah, Tai, Avery, Ryan Cole, Jr., Ryan Alexis, Kenedi Shae, Juan Colón, III, Radimus, Riselle, Romani, Sincere, Adam, Aden, Amora, Aaliyah, Giselle (AJ), Ariana, Emiliio, Dior, Ivy.
Funeral Mass 10 A.M. Saturday, St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Rev. Dr. Julius Abuh officiating. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. Rosary service 7 P.M. Friday. Family will receive friends 5-7 P.M. Friday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
