Sara graduated in 2000 from Mt. Vernon High School. She enjoyed attending Beyond the Walls Ministry in Mt. Vernon.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gene Grabert; grandparents, Eugene and Barbara Grabert and Jim and Carolyn Tinsley; uncle, Mike Tinsley; and her nephew, Hank Barritt.
She is survived by her daughters, Macy Allen, Khloe Hyatt and Elly McCarty; son, Ryder Hyatt; mother, Candie Grabert; sister, Missy Barritt (Chad); niece, Hadley Barritt; nephews, Hudson, Noah and Travis Barritt; great-nephew, Nile Barritt; aunts, Pam Mercer (Deke Vogel), Terri Kessler (Ray), Kris Phillips (Mike) and Donna Tinsley; uncle, Roger Grabert (Tina); and several cousins.
A Memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Schneider Funeral Home, 512 Main St., Mt. Vernon, IN with Pastor Bryan Thompson officiating and burial to follow in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Chemo Buddies of Evansville, 3700 Bellemeade Ave., Evansville, IN 47714 or Pointe Township Church of the Nazarene/Beyond the Walls Ministry, 12611 Bonebank Rd., Mt. Vernon, IN 47620.
