Sara "Mimi" Jones, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2024. Born on October 16, 1948, in Bellevue, PA, she was the cherished daughter of the late Jane and Charles Barnhart.
Sara was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald Jones. She was a loving mother to her daughters, Michelle Goetz and Kim (Mark) Lira as well as her favorite daughter to another mother Michele (Andy) Kuhn. She was an adoring grandmother, affectionately known as "Mimi" to her grandchildren: Kaleb Lira, Nathan Lira, Angelo Kuhn, and Nico Kuhn.

Sara and Don shared a love for travel, with Maine holding a special place in their hearts. In her downtime, she delighted in the simple pleasures of life, savoring Bethel Bakery cake, Isaly's chipped ham, and a Danielle Steel novel.
