Sara Rabon Obituary
Nichols Sarah Strickland Rabon, age 96, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024.
Mrs. Rabon was born in Horry County, a daughter of the late David Rabon and Claudie Rabon. She was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. Mrs. Rabon enjoyed gardening. She was predeceased by her 1st husband, Mack Strickland, Sr., 2nd husband, James Rabon, three sons, Johnny Strickland (infant son), Mac McGee Strickland, Jr., and David M. "Marshall" Strickland, a daughter, Bonnie Christmas, a grandson, Jason Christmas and a brother, Eugene Rabon.
Survivors include two grandchildren, Kenneth Strickland (Angie) and Michelle Huggins (Jamie), two great grandchildren, Cody Strickland (Hope), Bayley Wilson (Nick), three great grandchildren, Kameron, Sadie and Konner, special nieces, Joann Bell and Jennifer Graham.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 9, 2024, at Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev, Mack Hutson officiating. Visitation will follow in Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery.
