Sara L. Shaffer

Sara L. (Eline) Shaffer, age 37 passed away suddenly at home on December 5, 2023. She was the loving wife of Derek E. Shaffer; together they shared 15 years of love.
Sara was born in Hanover on March 27, 1986, and was the daughter of Karen (Gigous) and the late Arnold Eline. She went on to receive her license in cosmetology, her Associate Degree in Business, and her Bachelor Degree in Nursing. Sara enjoyed thrift shopping, taking little getaways with her family, and most of all taking care of her children. She was extremely organized and loved planning all of her children's events and birthday parties.
In addition to her husband Derek, Sara is survived by her children Aubrielle, Blayne, and Drake; her mother Karen Eline; her sisters Stephanie Eline and Amber Rohrbaugh; her mother and father-in-law Deb and Martin Shaffer; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service in celebration of Sara's life will be held on Thursday at 11:00AM at Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., 175 N. Main St. Spring Grove PA 17362, with Rev. Gerald Dunlap officiating. The interment will follow at St. Paul Wolf's Church Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 6:00-8:00PM and on Thursday from 10:00-11:00AM, both at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the family to help contribute to her children's educational fund.
