Sara Porter Wallace

Ms. Sara Porter Wallace, age 80, of Panama City, Florida passed August 3, 2025, at her home. She was born on September 26, 1944, in Caryville, Washington County, Florida to the late Curtis Sampson Porter and Willie Mae McGahee Porter. In addition to her parents, Sara was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Wallace, four brothers, John D. 'Pete' McGahee, Nathaniel 'Buddy' Porter, and Curtis Porter and two sisters, Donnie Alfred and Loretta Porter.
Ms. Wallace is survived by three children, Kim Smith and Rick, Greg Wallace and Donna, and Gary Wallace and Joanna; six grandchildren, Tyler Smith, Logan Wallace, Jacquelyn Wallace, Shawn Wallace, Kailey Self, and Emmalane Wallace; seven great-grandchildren, Zaiden Belosic, Addilyn Anderson, Briar Rose Wallace, Gideon Wallace, Ryder Boutwell, Christopher Woodall, Ivy Jo Woodall; one sister, Christine Murphy Burke and Pete; one brother, John Henry Porter; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at Pleasant Grove Church. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove Methodist Church Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home and Bonifay Crematory in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 AM Wednesday at Pleasant Grove Church, 2430 Shakey Joe Road, Vernon, Florida.
