Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Hallman Adamson, age 73, of Ashland, will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland with Roy Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Clay County Memory Gardens.

Sarah was a member of the Church of Christ, a graduate of Clay County High School, Class of 1970, retired from Arrow Shirts and was a licensed cosmetologists. She never met a stranger and enjoyed talking with people even if she just met them. Her green thumb was obvious and her love for flowers and gardening was apparent by her ability to nurse flowers back to life and the way she tended her garden. Sarah also enjoyed cooking and baking.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her loving husband of 52 years and two months, Curtis W. Adamson of Ashland, her sister; Shirley Pittard of Lineville, and her brother Joe (Margaret) Hallman of Ashland, nieces; Tammy (John) Harkness and Amanda (Shane) Adams, nephews; Dennis (Debbie) Gautney, Jason Hallman, Rob Pittard, and Garrett Cooper, along with a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Tom and Bertha Hallman, sister; Vivian Gautney, brother; Travis Hallman and nephew Grant Cooper.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Gautney, Jason Hallman, Daniel Hanner, Cavin Hill, Trevor Hill, and Garrett Cooper.

The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 from 11:30 A.M. until service time at 1:00 P.M.
