Sarah Bentle Obituary
Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM Friday, January 26th, 2024 at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 2301 North Sylvania Avenue, Fort Worth.
Kay was born May 2, 1941 at her home in Clyde, Texas to the late James Erastus Conlee and Laura Schmidt Conlee. She enjoyed arranging flowers, and in her early life she sewed not just for necessity but also because she enjoyed it. Wednesday night was meatloaf with English peas. Kay had a very strong work ethic, she loved her family and never complained.
She is preceded in death by Melton "Mel" Bentle whom she was married to for 17 years before his passing in 1996; two sisters, Nella Jo Hewlett and Dolores McKay.
Survivors: Daughters, Theresa Schwartz (Alan Schwartz), Cindy Burleson (Tim Burleson); grandchildren, Jonathan Lott, Kyle Burleson(Marcie Burleson), Deborah Schwartz, Brandon Schwartz; great-grandchildren, Laura Lott, Paige Burleson, Buddy Anglin.
