Sarah Ann Austin Clinton

Rock Hill, SC – Mrs. Sarah Ann Austin Clinton, 77, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 9, 2026.

The family will receive friends at 1:00 pm Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Whitesell Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Kenny Vinson officiating. Burial will be in Laurelwood Cemetery, Rock Hill, SC

A native of Rock Hill, SC Mrs. Clinton was a daughter of the late James Monroe Austin and Bessie Jeannette Hedgepath Austin. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was the owner of Clinton’s Daycare in Rock Hill, SC. She was a former member of the VFW, the American Legion Post 34 and the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary. Her hobbies included crocheting and knitting. She enjoyed dancing and loved traveling to the mountains and the beach.

Surviving four children, Stefanie Clinton (Christopher Tant), Michelle Garner, Gene Clinton, Denise Taylor; 6 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Larry Clinton; a mother-in-law, Inez Clinton; and a sister-in-law, Cathy Clinton.
