Sarah Duquette
May 26, 1981 - September 11, 2025
It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Sarah Fraser Duquette, 44, who departed this life after a courageous battle of cancer on September 11, 2025.
She was born on May 26, 1981 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Holly Ellis and Gary Duquette. Sarah married Richard Lexes on October 20th, 2021.
She was a woman of deep compassion, unwavering love, and an adventurous spirit. As a mother, she was passionate, devoted, and endlessly supportive — a steady presence in our lives who always made sure we felt loved, seen, and cared for.
She found joy in life’s simple pleasures: long drives with the windows down, spontaneous trips to Wendover, the quiet beauty of flying kites under an open sky, and the creativity and emotion found in art and music. She lived fully and freely, always open to new experiences and adventures.
Her kindness knew no bounds. Whether it was family, friends, or strangers, she constantly went out of her way to help others, offering her time, heart, and strength to anyone in need. She carried a nurturing spirit that touched everyone she met — a true embodiment of motherly love not just to her children, but to many.
Her memory will continue to inspire us to live with more kindness, courage, and curiosity — just as she did every day.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Lexes, her children, Edward Lexes, Taylor Lexes, and Richard Lexes Jr, and her mother Holly Ellis.
She is preceded in death by her father Gary Duquette, and Great Aunt, Bobbie Privett.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday September 17th, 2025 from 6:00pm-8:00pm.
