Sarah Gombos

Sarah Gombos, 93 passed away July 7, 2007 at the Delaire Nursing Home in linden, NJ. Born in Birmingham, Alabama, she lived most of her life in Bridgewater, NJ then twenty years in Piscataway before recently moving to Linden.Mrs. Gombos was employed with Pearls Drug Store in Somerville for twenty years. She also worked at Merle Norman Cosmetics and in the Piscataway Schools. Sarah was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima and a member of its Altar Rosary Society.She was predeceased by her loving husband Andrew Gombos Sr., who passed away in 1984 and by her dear daughter Anne who passed away in 1994. Surviving are her son Andrew Gombos Jr. and his wife Sharon of Piscataway; her brother Ben Mangina, her Sisters, Carrie Schaffron, Mary Destefano, Lorraine Arre and Lucille MacIndo; five grandchildren, Jana, Sara, Leah, Andrew and Kala and four great grandchildren, Ashley, Tyshawn, Brandon and Gianna.To send your condolence to the Gombos family, please sing our online guest book.
