Sarah Jean (Lane) Fangue, 70, of Baytown, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2013, at The Methodist Hospital in Houston. She was born July 29, 1942, in Jasper, Texas, to Jack Loftin and Ilene Talley Loftin. Sarah attended Lee College and San Jacinto College and chose a career in accounting. She enjoyed snow skiing, when possible, and was an avid reader. Sarah particularly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be remembered as a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. Preceded in death by her mother and father, Ilene and Jack Loftin and brothers, Bobby Lane and James Lane, Jr.; Sarah is survived by her son, Lynn Caskey II and wife, Amanda, of Baytown; her daughter, Kimberly Lane Cook and husband, Toby, of Baytown; grandchildren, Amber Caskey and husband, Matt Berges, Kelly Caskey, Joshua Cook, and Mason Cook; great grandchild, Remy Berges; brothers, Mickey Lane, Jerry Lane and wife, Harriet, and Billy Lane and wife, Peggy; and many other loving friends and family members. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2013, at Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at 6 p.m. in the Chapel of Crespo & Jirrels.
