In Loving Memory
Of our sister, daughter, and mother,
(February 24, 1982 - February 7, 2024)
With profound grief, the family of Sarah Ann Jorgenson wish to announce her peaceful passing. Sarah was found during the early hours of Wednesday morning, February 7th, 2024.
Sarah was born on February 24, 1982, with her twin sister Angela, to Todd and Sheila Jorgenson in Faribault, MN.
Sarah graduated with her GED from the State of Minnesota. She then worked in retail and customer service throughout most of her adult life at Naturalizer Shoe, a few factories, and finally Hy-Vee, which she was at the longest.
Sarah enjoyed the outdoors and going on trips with her family up north to go boating and fish during the warm summer days. In the winter, you could find her watching a good thriller curled up on her couch. She loved butterflies, the colors green and purple and spending time with friends and family.
Sarah is preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents and great grandparents, her father Todd, her brother Joshua, and her nephew Dominic. She is survived by her daughter Natalee, her immediate family: her mother Sheila Jorgenson (Donkers); brother Nick Jorgenson; sisters Angela Hanson (Jorgenson), Brittany (and Travis) Jacobsen, Paige Jorgenson, and Ashley Heskett; her extended family which includes many aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews; and her friends.
Sarah's wish was to be cremated, and the family will be laying her to rest at Meadow Ridge Cemetery in Faribault, MN. Friends and family are welcomed to a graveside service at that time, with a celebration of life to immediately follow. We will update the obituary once a date is determined for the service and celebration. In lieu of cards and flowers, a GoFundMe will be set up in the following days to help cover the costs of the funeral.
