Sarah Ann Kalisz

Sarah Ann Kalisz, 48, of Zeigler, formerly of Wisconsin, passed away on October 13, 2025, at Herrin Hospital.
Sarah was born on January 31, 1977, in Waukesha, Wisconsin, to David and Joan (Weiler) Romens.
She was currently enrolled at Southern New Hampshire University, pursuing a degree in business administration.
Sarah had a passion for crafting-especially jewelry, wood painting-crafts, and resin art. What began as a hobby grew into her own home-based business, "ICrafted Just 4U." She took great pride in setting up at local vendor events to display and sell her creations. In addition to her craft business, she also worked as a DoorDash and Uber Eats driver.
Sarah had a deep love for animals and a spirit for adventure. She enjoyed traveling with her boyfriend, Timothy, and cherished singing and long phone conversations with her mom.
She is survived by her daughter, Sahara Rapachietta; six additional children, Ariel Romens, Kiona (Dillon Garbisch) Romens, Devon (Faith Stenson) Romens, Caleb Krueger, Codi David, and Ellie David; one grandchild, Charlotte Romens; her parents, David and Joan Romens; her siblings, Theresa (Dirk Woerpel) Romens-Woerpel and David (Becca Schomer) Romens; her niece and nephew, Meghan and Aidan Woerpel; and her significant other of four years, Timothy Nobles.
She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
