She was born in Northbrook, IL to Gordon and Edith Browne.
Sarah is survived by her children: Amanda King (and husband John) of New Hampshire, Joseph Polito of Austin, Texas, and Elizabeth Polito of Cataumet, Massachusetts; her grandchildren John, Dana, and Grace King; her great-grandchildren Ashton and Cyprus; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph. As a former college professor and English department head at Cape Cod Community College, Sarah will be remembered for her dedication to education, her family, and her friends.
