Sarah Dyar Pritchard

Sarah Pritchard Watkinsville – Sarah E. Dyar Pritchard, 90, widow of the late John Oliver Pritchard, of 1041 Ramblewood Place, died Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospice House. Born in Lavonia, GA to the late Rev. Joseph Carlton Dyar Sr. and Rossie Whitfield Dyar, she was retired from Milliken in Williamston. Survivors include brother Rev. Thomas E. Dyar of Easley and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to husband and parents are brothers Rev. J.C. Dyar Jr., James Ernest Dyar, Boyd B. Dyar, Sr and Robert Lee Dyar; sisters Betty Dyar Swafford and Elizabeth " Lizzie Mae" Dyar preceded Mrs. Pritchard in death. Funeral services will be 3 PM, Saturday, January 10, 2009 in the Chapel of Sandifer Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oconee Memorial Park, nephews will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, Saturday, January 10, 2009, at the funeral home. The family is at their respective homes.
