Sarah Elizabeth "Liz" Rembert, 85, of Camden, New Jersey, entered eternal rest on Sunday, February 23, 2025, surrounded by loving family. She was a loving mother, proud grandmother, and cherished sister, aunt, and friend.
Sarah was born on September 2, 1939, in Essex County, Virginia, to the late Thomas Cauthorne, Sr., and Mary Lizzie Morris Cauthorne. Her legacy will live forever through her family – two sons, Michael Rembert and David Rembert, Sr., (Robin) of Camden, NJ; one daughter, Sabrina Alexander (Barry) of Williamstown, NJ; five grandsons, David Rembert, Jr., Sean Weal, Ryan Rembert, Brandon Rembert, Sr., and Barry N. Alexander; three great grandchildren, Kyri Rembert, Brandon Rembert, Jr., and Journey Rembert; four siblings, John Cauthorne (Bessie) and Doris Gray of Laneview, VA; Shirley Cauthorne of Richmond, VA; and Martha Carey of Dunnsville, VA; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. at the Union Shiloh Baptist Church, 3 Union Shiloh Lane, Jamaica, VA 23079. Funeral services in Sarah's memory will begin immediately thereafter at 11 a.m. Interment to follow.
