Mrs. Sarah Louise Scholz, 77, of St. Peters, Missouri, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 6, 2025. She was born on September 21, 1947, in Nortonville, Kansas, a daughter of the late Albert and Mildred (Buttron) Nolting.

Sarah was married to her husband of 55 years, Robert E. Scholz, on January 10, 1970, at St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Nortonville. She was a life-long member of the Lutheran church and was most recently a member of Chapel of the Cross Lutheran Church in St. Peters. She enjoyed attending all her children's activities, spending time with her grandchildren, talking with her friends and family, traveling, and in her younger days participating in bowling leagues and working on cross stitch patterns.

Sarah is survived by her husband; three sons Jason (Briana) Scholz, Jared (Leslie) Scholz, Matthew (Jennifer) Scholz; three grandchildren Wyatt, Eleanor, Isabel; a brother Melvin (Emily) Nolting; and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded by her parents and sister, Charlotte Gigstad.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00PM, Friday, July 18, 2025, at St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Nortonville, Kansas, with Pastor Richard Lally officiating. Burial will follow services at Nortonville Cemetery in Nortonville. A visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to service. Memorials are suggested to St. Matthews Lutheran Church. Condolences for the family may be left online at www.beckerdyer.com
