Mrs. Sarah Ratchford Tate, 100, of Gastonia, North Carolina was born June 8, 1924 in York County, South Carolina and departed this life on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at her home.
Arrangements Are As Follow:
PUBLIC VIEWING: At the funeral home on Saturday, December 14, 2024 from 3:00 until 8:00 P.M.
PLACE: Mills Chapel Holiness Church, 1109 North Boyce Street, Gastonia, NC 28052
DATE & TIME: Sunday, December 15, 2024 @ 2:00 P.M.
VISITATION: At the church on Sunday from 1:15 until 2:00 P.M.
INTERMENT: Rose Hill Cemetery, 1219 North Morris Street, Gastonia, NC 28052 Download funeral program

I give my full condolences to the Tate family and relatives.I never mer mrs.
Tate peesonally,but I want you to know that I saw her thru the eyes of son,Frank.He was kind,gentle firm,and serious about life and others.we talked very often on the phone about our mother's.my mother was 96,passed 4 years ago.we talked like they knew each other a d never met.Frank i know that she left a legacy back here that will never be forgotten.Rev.Nathaniel Deacon Jones is praying for the family.Amen.
