Sarita Belinda Thompson-Crenshaw

Sarita B. Thompson-Crenshaw was called too soon to be with her Heavenly Father on the night of June 6, 2025, at the tender age of 59 from her home in Fresno, Texas with her hands held by both her husband and son. Sarita was born on October 8, 1965, in Houston, Texas. She was born to her parents Lee and Leticia Thompson.
She married George Crenshaw in Kerrville, Texas, in 1996. She had one son, William. Her passions in life where fishing, hunting, shooting, and shopping. But not necessarily in that order. Whether it was salt-water fishing with her friends along the coastal ways of Texas or in New Mexico chasing black bear in the fall or elk during a blizzard (both of which she was successful in), shooting competitions with her girl 'posse' twice a month, or shopping at estate sales looking for whatever antique caught her eye, she tried to live life fully and well. But above all this was her love of family and friends with whom she would call or text daily. Staying connected with what was going on in their lives and letting them know hers was especially important. Somehow, she made sure to call, text and send a present or card on everyone's birthday, anniversary, or other meaningful date to show how just how much she cared.
Sarita was preceded in death by her beloved father, Harvey Lee Thompson and mother, Leticia "Lettie" Nava Thompson. She is survived by her husband and son of Fresno, Texas and her sister, Michelle Thompson-Bunch of Hunt, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.
She will be greatly missed by her loved ones.
Services will be held on Saturday June 21, 2025 at 11 am in the Schaetter Funeral Home 554 Roosevelt Ave Comfort Tx. A visitation will precede the service at 10 am. Interment will follow in the Comfort cemetery.
