Saundra S. Cook - age 71 of Cowgill, MO passed away Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Daviess County Nursing and Rehab in Gallatin. Saundra was born on January 2, 1954, the daughter of Cyril M. and Rosetta F. (Eckhart) Eckhart in Excelsior Springs, MO. She grew up and attended school at Polo. She married Terry Cook on April 24th, 1970, at the Black Oak Methodist Church, near Braymer. Saundra was of the Catholic faith. Saundra worked in nursing homes in the housekeeping department, often being the "mother hen" for the girls she worked with. She took care of every body. Saundra will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Saundra was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bud Eckert. She is survived by her husband Terry Cook of Cowgill, MO; children, Sheria Lynn Rellvelle (Chris) of Bonne Terre, MO and Scott Cook (Mandi) of Lathrop, MO; five grandchildren, Dakota Cook of Lathrop, Lyrek Cook of Lathrop, Seth Rellvelle and family of FL, Zach Rellvelle and family of Bonne Terre, MO, and Cydney Rellvelle and family of Bonne Terre, MO; 7 great-grandchildren; a sister, June; several other extended family members also survive.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association in care of the funeral home. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM, Sunday, September 28th, 2025, at Stith Funeral Home in Polo.
