Saundra Willis Obituary
Mrs. Willis, 67, of Oakdale, entered eternal rest on Monday, October 21, 2024, at Allen Oaks Nursing and Rehab Center, Oakdale, LA.
She was a loving mother and grandmother. She had a passion for teaching, enjoyed reading and never lost the joy of learning. It was no secret that she was possibly the BIGGEST Houston Astros fan in America. " GO 'STROS"
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Grant and Agnes Geraldine Willis.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include two daughters, Shelly Fontenot (Ted) of Oakdale, and April Johnson of Oakdale; and four grandchildren, Cadence Fontenot, Riley Fontenot, Madison Johnson, and Aniston Johnson.
A time of visitation will be held in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale, on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Ted Fontenot, Riley Fontenot, Chris Tichy, Mark Pender, Art Cross, and Ryan Bond.
