Little Sawyer Wayne "Saw Saw" Patton, age six months and twenty-seven days of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life on Sunday, October 26, 2025, in Dalton, Georgia.

Sawyer was born on March 30, 2025, at Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Wayne Patton, Debbie Allen and Jimmy and Anges Johnson.

Sawyer was a perfect, loving baby - a bright light in a dark world. His sparkling blue eyes and beautiful smile could warm any heart. He had the sweetest giggle and loved to pull himself up and bounce on his tiny toes, filling every moment with joy and wonder.

He is survived by his loving parents, Cameron Alexander Stephens and Kaylee Nicole Patton; sister, Nova Faye Patton who named him "Saw Saw"; great-grandparents, Teresa Patton, and Jeff Allen; grandparents, Regina Johnson, Gary "Steve" Stephens, and Chris and Alicia Patton; cousins, Brynlee Johnson, Brielle Johnson, Willow McKenzie, Henry McKenzie, Whiskey Sutton, Wesson Taylor, and Ava J Taylor; uncles, Chad and Andrea Johnson; aunt, Caroline and Lee McKenzie and Emily Patton.

A service to celebrate Sawyer's life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Ponders Melrose Chapel, with Reverend Jaime Harper officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, October 31, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and again on Saturday after 10:00 a.m.
