Scott A. Hamric, 55 of New Concord, passed away peacefully at his home on November 20, 2025.
Scott was born on June 4, 1970, in Millersburg. He is the son of the late Darrel and Nena (Hill) Hamric. Scott graduated from John Glenn High School in 1988 and from Zane State College with an Associate’s degree in environmental science. He worked for various warehouses throughout his life, such as Lowes and AutoZone. He enjoyed tinkering in his garage where he would make handcrafted knives and working on cars. Scott also enjoyed beadwork in his living room.
Scott is survived by his two children, Samantha Hamric and Sabrina “Sunnie” Hamric; the mother of his children, Denise (Laughlin) Hamric; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Scott is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Geneva Leasure; his paternal uncle, Chuck Hamric.
In keeping with Scott’s wishes, a caring cremation will take place. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
