Jerry Hamric Obituary
Jerry Hamric, 73, of East Moline passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at University of Iowa Hospital.
Visitation will be 11-1pm Saturday at Schroder Mortuary in Colona followed by burial at Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.
Jerry was born September 19, 1952 in Fulton, Mississippi the son of William “Willie” and Edra Butler Hamric. He married Debra Kain August 22, 1971. They later divorced. Jerry worked at the Rock Island Arsenal as a forklift operator and later at QC Die Cast. He was an avid pool player and loved spending time with his family.
Survivors include his children Alena (Bill) Barnes and Keith (Jessica) Hamric; grandchildren Justin Hamric-Gustafson, Cullan Barnes, Payge Barnes, Koleton Hamric, Kaidon Hamric, Ashlin Hamric, Alexis Harper, Jannen Harper, and Harlee McIntire; great grandchildren Ivanna, Kata, and Kaysen; brother Michael Hamric; nieces Stefanie, Brittany, and Alexis; many great nieces and nephews, cousins, and an aunt and uncle.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Machele Hamric.
