Scott K. Bacon, 66, of Bedford, died on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. He was born on July 9, 1958 in Johnstown, a son of the late Glen J. and Marguerite (Shull) Bacon. Survived by loving wife of 43 years, Cynthia A. (Streletz) Bacon, Bedford; daughter, Robin L. Schrock and husband Barrett of Bedford; three grandsons: Owen, Benjamin, and Griffin Scott; one brother, Bradley Bacon of St Michael and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by son, Scott K. "Scotty" Bacon II; brother, Todd Bacon; and mother and father- in-law, John "Mousy" and Marion Streletz.
Scott graduated from Richland High School in 1976 and retired from Windber Medical Center in 2016; he later worked for Everett Area School District and was currently employed at Bedford Area School District. Scott enjoyed watching and learning about construction equipment, tinkering in his workshop, being outdoors cutting grass, metal detecting, riding his motorcycle with friends, spending time with his grandkids and his "Golden Girl" retrievers, Starr and Frannie Rae. Scott was always working on home improvement projects and decorating the house with his wife for the holidays for all to enjoy.
