Scott Bartlett Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Magner Funeral Home, Inc. - Norwalk on Mar. 5, 2026.
Scott E. Bartlett, 72, of New Haven, died on February 27, 2026 at Yale-New Haven. Born in Norwalk, he was the son of the late Robert and Jeanne (Hyatt) Bartlett, and was predeceased by his sister Kathryn-Mary.

After a 35-year career at Albertus Magnus College, he recently retired as the Internet Systems Administrator/Web Master. Scott was a man of faith whose piety and generosity were evident in the way he lived his life. He will be greatly missed by not only those who loved him, but also by those to whom he selflessly gave. In his own quiet way, Scott walked the walk.

Scott was an amateur videographer and enjoyed attending, chronicling, restoring and preserving all manner of his large and extended family's many events. Everyone eagerly awaited the arrival of new videos compiled by Scott.

He is survived by his brothers and sisters; Gregory, Gary, Kevin, Mark, Philip and William Bartlett, Debra Parent and Pamela McGrath as well as many nieces and nephews.

His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM, on Thursday, March 12, at St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Avenue, Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to: Cardinal Newman Society, Connecticut Foodshare, or Little Sisters of the Poor. For directions or online guestbook, please visit: Magnerfuneralhome.com
