Scott James Bowley age 61. 11/18/1964-12/13/2025.
Born in Springvale, ME to Sarah Vallee Leach and Ralph Edward Bowley. Scott was living in St. George, Utah.
Scott grew up in Springvale, ME and spent a lot of his time in the small town of Milton Mills, NH where he had many friends and family. He attended Sanford High School then went on to spend 8 years in the US Air Force before joining the Salt Lake County Sheriff’s office as a deputy. He met some of his lifelong friends during his time at the Sherriffs office. Scott resided in Salt Lake City for 28 years before moving to Saint George, Utah with his Wife Kelly Bowley and Step Daughter, Portia Fauver.
Scott loved motorcycles and spent a great deal of time riding through the canyons of northern Utah with his friends. He had a love for amusement parks, jet skis, and cliff diving; those are the things that made him feel alive. From jumping off the cliffs back home at the Wells quarry to bungee jumping or flying in an F-16 fighter jet. He loved anything fast.
Survived by his Mother, Sarah; his Father, Ralph; and 2 brothers; Kevin Zachary Bowley and Seth Edward Bowley; all currently living in Maine; his 4 children, Sean, Adrianna, and Scott; of South Carolina; and his youngest daughter Sydney who currently resides in Salt Lake City. Also survived by his seven grandchildren, in South Carolina.
Service will be held at Southern Maine Veterans Cemetery in the Spring. Goodbye Scotty. We will love you forever.
