Robert Bowley Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home on Jan. 9, 2026.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Allan Bowley on January 5, 2026, as he went from his earthly home at Willow Creek Lodge Nursing Home in Tomball, Texas, to his eternal heavenly home.
Robert was born in Cameron, Texas, on October 23, 1962. He was the youngest of four children born to Robert William Bowley and Wanda Jean Bowley. He is survived by his mother, Wanda; his three sisters, Theresa Lynn Ray, Karen Denise Sollenne (and husband David), and Pamela Jean Bowley; his nephews, Christopher Ray, Cameron Ray (and wife Casey), and Brandon Cantrell; and his great-nieces, Christian Carolyn (CC) and Cailynn Ray, and great-nephew, Carson Ray.
Robert was a sweet, innocent soul who loved the Lord and his family. He often spoke about his desire to see his dad, grandparents, and the uncles and aunts who were already in Heaven.
He did not have an easy life due to the mental and physical challenges he experienced throughout his adult life, but he always made it through with much prayer and the support of his loving family.
Robert spent the last year of his life at Willow Creek Lodge in Tomball, where his mother was also a resident. God blessed them both during that final year by allowing them to see each other every day.
We will all miss him every day, but we are comforted knowing he is now whole in Heaven, with a new body, finally at peace-free from mental anguish and physical pain. We have the assurance that, as Christians, we will be together again, where there is no pain or sadness-only peace and rejoicing for eternity.
