     Scott Eugene Digby, 22, of Carmi, IL, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN. Scott was born October 10, 2000, in Fairfield, IL, the son of Brandy Digby. Scott was a coal miner at Gibson County Coal South and had previously worked as a roughneck in the oil field. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time with family and friends. Scott was a loving and devoted son, brother, father and friend.

     Survivors include, his daughter, Harper Scottlyn Digby; Girlfriend and Baby Momma, Talissa Foley of Fairfield, IL; Parents Brandy and Jeff Minder of Carmi, IL; step- father, Jason “Pappy” Locke; grandmothers Ruth Young of Carmi, IL. and Mary Nation of Grayville, IL; grandparents, Linda and Randy Duckworth of Enfield, IL siblings, Jerry Rhodes III of Shawneetown, IL Justin Rhodes of Poseyville, IN, Katie (Dave) McCluskey of Carmi, IL, Skylinn Minder of Carmi, IL, Landon (Sydney) Minder of Carmi, IL, Colby Minder of Carmi, IL, Logan Minder of Carmi, IL and Maliah Minder of Carmi, IL, step- children, Keaton and Maci Grant of Carmi, IL; niece, Elery (Elliesourous) Minder of Carmi, IL; nephew Bentley McCluskey of Carmi, IL; good friend Jerry Rhodes II and his loving dog Zeus Boobies Digby. Scott was preceded in death by, grandfathers, John Minder and Les Young, brother, Brandon Rhodes and a stepdaughter, Andrea Grant.

     Funeral services for Scott Eugene Digby will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi, IL. Family and Friends May Visit from 9:30 a.m., until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Scott’s memory to the family for his daughter, Harper Scottlyn and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home, 609 W. Main St., Carmi, IL 62821.
