Scott Michael Joseph Frates-Roberts, 38 years old of Taunton passed away on January 14, 2023. He was the son of late Dale S. Roberts Sr. and Judith A. (Thompson) Roberts and biological parents of the late Scott Frates and Deborah Demers.
Scott was born in Taunton, then grew up in Raynham. He enjoyed playing Football for the Raynham Giants and town soccer. He graduated Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School, Class of 2004. In school he made lots of friends who loved and adored him. Scott never lived out his dream to become a professional entertainer, but hat never stopped him from making all of us laugh. He was charismatic to say the least, from his Fire Marshall Bill skits to his dances wearing his Scoota blinged out belt. Even as an adult he love playing Pokémon Go with his nieces and nephews, he was a gentle soul. Always respectful of others, always kind, always there to lend an ear or give a hug. Scott loved his family and friends deeply, they were everything to him. He will be missed by so many.
Survivors include his mother Judith A. Roberts of Raynham; a brother Dale S. Roberts Jr. of Portsmouth RI; a sister Kimberly J. Roberts; a brother Brian C. Roberts of Portland ME; Edwin J. Roberts of Raynham, MA; Milagro Silva of Greenville, NC and Alicia J. Roberts of Raynham, MA, cousins Alysa and Crystal Frates, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Also the brother of the late Margarita Resendes.
Scott's family would like to thank everyone who helped in assisting in honoring him.
Visitation will be held on Saturday January 28, 2023 from 9:00-11:00am at Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home 467 Bay St. Taunton, MA, followed by a Memorial Service in the Funeral Home at 10:45am. Burial will take place at Mayflower Hill Cemetery Taunton, MA.
Following the cemetery Scott's family would like to invite everyone back to the First Congregational Church (The Stone Church) of Raynham, 785 S. Main St. Raynham, MA for a remembrance and luncheon to continue celebrating Scott's life.
