Scott Galley Obituary

Scott William Galley, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, passed away the early morning of June 30th, 2025. A loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend to many, Scott left a lasting impact on all of those around him.
Born in Bristol, Pennsylvania, Scott was the eldest son of Brigitte Galley and the late Charles L. Galley. At twelve years old, he moved to Westampton, New Jersey, where he graduated from Rancocas Valley High School in 1985. Scott then pursued higher education at Pennco Tech in Bristol, PA, receiving his associate degree in electronics. He spent thirty years with Honeywell, working with HVAC controls and security systems first as a technician, then progressed to a project manager, and finally promoted to an account manager. He was known for his dedication, hard work, and was greatly respected by colleagues and clients.
Scott was a man of quiet strength who showed unwavering loyalty to those around him. His heart was big, showing his love and care through his actions when it mattered most.
Scott enjoyed many hobbies, including woodworking, deep sea fishing, cooking, and gardening. He would spend Sundays watching Philadelphia Eagles football with his son Daniel. He was also an avid hockey and baseball fan of both the Philadelphia Flyers and Phillies.
A family man, he spent many summers in Dawson, PA, at the Galley farm, cherishing time with beloved family members. He also cherished his connection to his family in Munich, Germany, his mother Brigitte Galley's birthplace. He was at his happiest when spending time with his son, Daniel, and grandson, Christopher.
Scott is preceded in death by his father, Charles L. Galley. He is survived by his wife, Lourdes Galley; his son, Daniel C. Galley; his stepdaughter, Christina Fitts; his grandson, Christopher Fitts; his mother, Brigitte Galley; and his brother, Keith A. Galley.
Scott will be missed beyond words but will carry on through our love and remembrance.
Visitation will be on Saturday, July 12th, 2025, from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at the Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mount Holly. A Memorial Service will follow at 3pm. Cremation and interment will be private. Donations can be made out in Scott's remembrance to the American Heart Association or Fox Chase Cancer Center.

As a young and frustrated new salesperson, once, in the back of an uber to the airport, Scott reminded me not to overlook the small opportunities because they can add up to something meaningful. Scott told me that knocking down a high volume of small opportunities was his "bread and butter"--the support structure for his success. I never forgot that. To this day, I do exactly that, making it my bread and butter, and it has built the foundation for and lead to the success in my career. Thank you, Scott, for always sharing your compassion and wisdom, and to Galley Family, I extend my sincerest condolences.
