Scott J. Harwood, 61, of Johnston, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 10, 2025, in Pascoag, RI. Born in Attleboro, MA, he was the son of the late Beverly (Jones) Sylvia and Ronald Harwood Sr. of Saco, ME.
He was a devoted and proud father to his daughter, Trischanna Daluz of St. Petersburg, FL, who was the light of his life. He is also survived by his brothers: Ronald Harwood Jr. of Hope Valley, RI, and Stephen Harwood of Pawtucket, RI and his sisters: Jacqueline Graff of Smithfield, RI, and Kimberley Villada of Pawtucket, RI. He was predeceased by his brother Roy Harwood of Pawtucket, RI.
Scott was a proud and skilled welder, a journeyman by trade, who took great pride in his work. He also served his country with honor in the U.S. Army Reserves. Independent and strong, Scott was known for his sharp sense of humor, generous spirit and the quiet way he cared for those he loved. He had a nurturing heart and a knack for making others laugh, always willing to lend a hand or share a story.
Scott will be remembered as a strong and loving son, father, brother, uncle and friend who touched many lives with his humor, kindness and unwavering independence. He was an individual who found joy and rhythm throughout his life behind a drum kit. He leaves behind a legacy of passion, creativity and the enduring echo of his favorite beat.
