Scott Johnson Obituary

Published by Legacy from Oct. 1 to Oct. 2, 2025.
Scott Faulkner Johnson, a lifelong resident of Ormondsville Township in Greene County, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 28, 2025, at the age of 64.
Born May 29, 1961, Scott graduated from Greene Central High School in 1979. He proudly served his country as a member of the North Carolina National Guard, where he learned his trade as a machinist.
Scott was passionate about the things he loved most-playing guitar, restoring antique British sports cars, and cheering on ECU football. His quick wit, generous heart, and loyal spirit endeared him to family, friends, and his beloved dog, Stella.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Elton Johnson, Jr. and Carole Faulkner Johnson.
Scott is survived by his brother, James Elton Johnson III of San Francisco, CA; cousins Marc Faulkner and wife Lyndsey of Ojai, CA; Chad Faulkner of Greenville, NC; Jimmy Faulkner of Corolla, NC; and Tad Shelton and wife Charlotte of Greenville, NC. He also leaves behind his longtime friend, Bro-Man of Greene County, and his faithful canine companion, Stella.
Per Scott's request, no service will be held. In honor of his life, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America or a charity of your choice.
