Scott Kerbel

Scott Allen Kerbel, age 62, passed away in the late hours June 3rd at his home in Washington Terrace, Utah after a lengthy battle with heart and respiratory failure.
Scott was born on March 29th, 1962 to Jerome and Grace Woslager in Sheridan Wyoming. Scott was adopted by John Paul Kerbel and Grace Kerbel in 1967.
Scott attended Sheridan High School. Scott worked in Construction and manufacturing industries in his working career.
Scott married Kathy Perkins and they had one Son, Adam Levi Kerbel who was on born on May 22nd 1987. Scott and Kathy later divorced in 1999.
Scott was an avid outdoorsman and spent most of his leisure time camping and fishing in the mountains of the west including Wyoming, Montana, Colorado, Arizona and Utah. On any given evening, weekend or holiday, Scott could be found camping and fishing.
In 2018 Scott retired due to a respiratory disability from an industrial accident several years prior.
Scott was predeceased by his birth father Jerome Woslager, his adopted father John Paul Kerbel, his mother Grace Kerbel, his sister Debbie Woslager, and his half-brother, John Edward Kerbel. He is survived by his brothers Jerry, Mike and Joe Woslager, Sam Kerbel, and his sisters, Julie Ann Shadoan, Nancy Lamb, and Bonnie Watts.
A Celebration of Life will be held with family and friends in Sheridan Wyoming at Kendrick Park on July 27th, 2024 at 11:00 am.

I live here as a fish in a vessel of water,
Only enough to keep me alive,
but in heaven I shall swim in the ocean,
here I have a little air in me to keep me breathing,
but there I shall have sweet and fresh gales.
